Hello! My name is Shea.

I love Korean dramas. I love the tropes, the random product placements, and the way an accidental hand graze can mean more than a kiss ever could. I love the long buildup, the emotional restraint, and, yes, the eternal question of whether the leads will finally kiss or settle for a very meaningful hug.

They Don’t Kiss Until Episode 16 began because watching K-dramas made me think, and feel, more than I expected. I had questions about storytelling, relationships, and what these shows reveal about culture and connection, and I wanted a place to explore those questions with people who were watching just as closely.

This blog is that space: part book club, part conversation, and part love letter to the dramas that stay with us long after the final episode.

Enjoy!
